Senior Front-End developer (React)

The main goal of the company is to transform the internet with easy to use yet powerful tools, that allow anyone to circumvent censorship, access geographically restricted content, and minimize their exposure to marketers, criminals, and surveillance dragnets. Their well-received applications have appeared on Lifehacker, Techradar, and CNET.

Must have:

- Solid knowledge of vanilla Javascript + ES6

- Min 1 year of experience building React web applications

- Excellent knowledge of browser security practices (CSRF, CORS, etc)

- Strong UX and design sense

- The ability to solve problems without an npm package. Sometimes 3 lines of pure JS is more than enough.

- Experience working with JS unit/React component testing

- Understanding of software design principles and ability to write clear, clean, maintainable code that scales

Nice to have:

- Experience investigating and improving JavaScript performance

- Knowledge of the HTTP/TLS protocol and ability work with RESTful APIs in less than ideal network conditions (restrictive corporate/school networks, government-level firewalls)

- Knowledge/experience with TypeScript

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab/Github)

- Browser extension development experience
