Data Engineer (Python/Scala)

In the person we are looking for is important:

• 5+ years in software engineering
• 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer working on big data analytics
• deep knowledge of Python and SQL
• Knowledge or willingness to learn Scala
• Experience in system design and architecture
• Experience with integration of data from multiple data sources and APIs
• Experience in building ETL data pipelines
• Experience with Apache Spark
• Experience with Apache Airflow or similar job schedulers
• Experience with cloud infrastructure

Nice to Haves:

• Experience with Databricks
• Proficient in AWS cloud (S3, EC2, RDS, EKS, MSK, Lambda, DynamoDB, Redshift)
• Experience in mobile User Acquisition and Marketing
• Worked in the mobile gaming industry and knowledge of game-specific data

You will be doing:

• support and scaling of the Data platform;
• determine the technological needs for logging, processing, storing and presenting data
• design, implement, maintain tools and reports for User Acquisition and LiveOps teams from start to finish
• building systematic reports

Selection stages:

HR interview with a recruiter from Indigo (25 min.)

Introduction to Head of Engineering (30 minutes)

Interview with 2 Data Engineers from the team (1 hour) - questions on Hard skills

Technical with Lead Engineer (1h): high level technical issues.
