YOUR ROLE AND IMPACT
What You Will Do:
You will be a member of the team that is responsible for core backend architecture decision and ensures the workflow. Your primary responsibility will be taking part in new features and technologies adoption/monitoring/support. You will also help your team in other areas, detailed below. As a part of this you will:
- Maintain IT systems management tools used by the team.
- Create and roll out new technical solutions through the dev/qa/prod pipeline.
- Remediate and mitigate vulnerabilities in a variety of technical products.
- Communicate with third party technical support if needed.
- Work with other team members as an on-call engineer 24/7 based on the flexible schedule.
- Take part in NOC monitoring shifts daily.
- Automate the tasks.
- You will document all changes within our Change Management process and Confluence.
- Tracking the projects in Jira.
- You will undergo regular security training.
- Working hours are 9am-6pm local time, Monday to Friday. On-call shifts covering weekends will also be required.
- This is a hybrid position, and you will be required to be in-person at our Buenos Aires office 1-2 days per week.
What You Will Bring:
- 5+ years of experience as a systems/windows engineer.
- Good knowledge of server platforms Microsoft Windows
- Deep knowledge in Active Directory, Group Policy and DNS.
- Maintenance of Microsoft SQL Servers.
- Experience in Exchange on-premises and o365
- Understanding of monitoring systems (SCOM/Prometheus)
- PowerShell scripting of complex scripts.
- Strong understanding of security best practices.
- Troubleshooting technical issues and developing effective solutions.
- Experience in Windows Failover Clustering.
- Some experience in Amazon Web Services: EC2, IAM, Config, CloudWatch, CloudFormation.
- Citrix XenApp.
- Experience with Git, TFS.
